Had to move to Boulder to see a bear...
We moved to Boulder the end of July. Even though I've lived in Colorado my entire life I've never seen a bear outside of the zoo walls...until today! Bri and I were on a morning hike when, oh yes, we saw not just one bear but a big mama bear and a baby cub. I wish we could have gotten a group photo but the bears were to busy for the likes of us. We sat and watched, Bri laughed and screamed in delight (I think she thought they were large dogs and seeing that no one was around to fetch them she then may have thought we could take them home and call them our own). Not so, we don't have enough berries for bears. We can't even keep fish alive.
Amazing!!!! They just live out there all year long, no rent to pay for a place with a view. Wow. Love it! Baby is crying gotta go

I'm glad you got to see a bear...uh, sorry, a bear and her cub. Don't wanna minimize. Actually, that's really cool. Bears rock. I like them. Some people categorize black bears (I assume it was a black bear) as predators, but that's simply not true. They are, at best, foragers, and I'm not sure I spelled that right.
I could be in love with you. Is that a problem?
Uhhh...Faith? I don't remember anyone mentioning anything about fish. How's it going, there? Or, what do you know taht I don't??
I can't find a good place to post this to you, so I'm just doing it here...my rationale being that the post is about an animal, and so is this poem, but only metaphorically, of course.
If you were a Bolivian Spotted Newt
And amphibious Alisa,
I would ever so gently
Put you in my pocket
With a folded, wet paper towel,
And we would down to the Reservoir
And spend all afternoon
Sliding underneath rocks
And playing Marco Polo,
If you were a Bolivian Spotted Newt.
I love you!!
Later, skater-
